About
I design AI‑native wireless systems that bring together advanced machine learning, 5G‑Advanced/6G RAN architecture, and GPU‑accelerated computing. Over the past 15+ years, I have led research and innovation across Nokia, Intel, and WINGS, working at the intersection of wireless communications, distributed intelligence, and next‑generation network design.
My work spans ML‑based L1/L2 RAN optimization, AI‑driven network automation, MEC/edge computing architectures, LLMs for telecom, and large‑scale optimization algorithms. I have contributed extensively to 3GPP RAN3/SA2 and ETSI MEC standardization, with more than 120 accepted contributions, and played key roles in major EU 6G flagship projects including Hexa‑X, METIS‑II, ONE5G, mmMAGIC, and AMBIENT‑6G.
I hold 50+ granted and filed patents across AI‑RAN, MEC, and wireless systems, and have authored 50+ peer‑reviewed publications in leading journals and conferences. My research vision focuses on data‑frugal intelligence: enabling devices and networks to learn, infer, and adapt with minimal data movement. This perspective directly informs next‑generation chip architectures, communication protocols, and distributed intelligence frameworks.
Before joining industry, I completed my Ph.D. at Télécom ParisTech and held a post‑doctoral research fellowship at the University of Edinburgh. I am an IEEE Senior Member and Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
This website brings together my research, publications, and writing on AI‑native wireless systems, distributed intelligence, and the future of 6G.
